Lake Hume Sunrise

I normally wouldn't recommend venturing out in the dark when the temperature is below zero, but if it means you can witness the world awakening, it is worth it.

It was so still as the light changed that you could hear the ripples of the water as it went on its journey. Rich golds, mauve and pinks painted the sky and I was left speechless.

It is a time that stays firmly fixed in my memories for all the right reasons.

Do you have certain scenes or moments that stay in your memory?
